Trusting His Timing

My sweet Melissa,

My timing is always perfect. Regardless of what you think, I’m always right on time. Just like you are-and have always been-right on time. You’re exactly where you’re meant to be. I know you may feel like you’re late, but that’s not true. Your life is a testament to my perfect timing. You may not see it yet, but you will.

Thank you for trusting me enough to let go completely. I’m so pleased that you’re not trying to figure everything out but are choosing to believe that my plans for you are good. The more you let go, the more I can surprise you. Thank you for staying open to surprises.

Melissa, I gave you that word about time for a reason. There is a time for everything, and I can’t wait to hear about what you discover.

Love, God

Trusting Gods timing has been one of the hardest struggles of my life. I’ve had to overcome so much just to learn to trust again, especially after my trust was broken so many times. When things don’t happen when I expect them to, it’s easy to start doubting and feeling frustrated. Yet, over the past few years, I’ve come to realize that if my desires had been fulfilled on my own timeline, I likely would have made a mess of them. God knows me better than I know myself; He understands what I’m truly ready for. So, if you’re in a season of waiting, know that your struggles are valid. Trust that God is working behind the scenes, and He is preparing you for something truly beautiful.

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. He has made everything beautiful in its time.” – Ecclesiastes 3:1,11
