Faith in the Unseen

My sweet Melissa,

Did you hear that? Did you hear the sound of the train? It’s no accident that I have given you a word about trains and moved you near the tracks. Every time you see or hear the train, I want you to remember what I told you. It’s a reminder that you didn’t come this far just to stop now. You’re so close- you can hear it, see it, feel it. Don’t give up.

I know you’re feeling hopeless, discouraged, and disappointed, but remember, some of the greatest rewards come from the hardest struggles. Just look at my son, Jesus. He received the greatest reward but endured the hardest thing- dying for you on the cross.

I see you, Melissa. I see you when you’re alone, afraid, hurting, and questioning everything. I see your hearts desire for love and attention. I know you feel unseen, but I see every part of you. I’ve seen you as a baby, and I’ve seen you as an old woman. I’ve seen your wedding, and I’ve seen your children. I’m outside of time, and I’m with you always.

Even in your hardest moments, I’m there, and I’m pleased with you. What you’re going through now is preparing you for what’s next. Trust me, Melissa. I know exactly where you’re headed, and these trials are shaping you for what’s to come.

Now, I want you to repeat after me: “God, I love you, and I believe you have great plans for me. I surrender my life to you and trust you with my whole heart. Despite hoe I feel or what I see, I believe you are truth, and I will live my life to glorify you. My life is yours, and i will no longer feel sorry for myself.”

Just because you don’t see everything now doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. Start believing before you see. Close your eyes and picture your dream. Now write it down. Do you believe it can happen? You must believe before you see- that’s faith. And faith without works is dead. So, take action, and watch how I show up.

Love, God

Having faith in the unseen can be incredibly challenging. There was a time when I felt completely unseen and unknown, especially when it came to relationships. I watched as everyone around me was getting married or spending weekends with their partners, and it only deepened my loneliness. While others looked forward to weekends, I dreaded them because I longed for that same connection. But through that struggle, I learned that God sees me even when I feel invisible. He reminds us that our worth isn’t tied to our relationship status. Trusting in His plan means believing that something beautiful is unfolding, even if we can’t see it yet.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10
