My sweet Melissa,
Do you notice how I often have you experience something before teaching you about it? Remember that low week about a month ago when you found yourself feeling isolated? That happened for a reason. I wanted you to see that you need community. To take you where I am leading, you can’t be in isolation; you must have support around you.
I’m very proud of you for taking action and reaching out to connect with others after that week. Thank you for taking my words seriously. Everything I say has purpose, and it’s for your own good. I’m grateful you stepped out of your comfort zone and trusted me. Isn’t it amazing that I had you go through that low week so you would start seeking community?
Remember, Melissa, everything that happens is for you and benefits you, even if you don’t see it right away. I’m pleased that you recognize the need for change in your life to follow where I am leading you. I know change can feel uncomfortable, but I’m so proud of you for embracing it and being willing to move forward.
Can you see how stepping into the light and taking risks can actually be fun? It’s interesting how the things that scare us can lead to joy. Think of a roller coaster: it looks intimidating, but once you take the leap, it’s exhilarating.
I want you to step into the light. Reach out and jump. You’re doing this by faith, and it pleases me. I will meet you every time, without fail. I am always faithful and always with you. You have nothing to fear because I will always catch you. Remember, I am within you, and nothing is greater than me. If I am for you, who can be against you? No one and nothing.
It’s when you jump that you’ll discover more of who I am, which will help you realize more of who you are. It’s time to believe in me and show me through your actions that you trust me. Faith without works is dead.
Love, God
If you’re feeling isolated or alone, know that these feelings don’t define your worth or your journey. Every experience, even the tough ones, can lead you to deeper connections and understanding. After I began my relationship with Jesus, COVID hit, and I found myself in isolation without a strong community around me. A few years later, I went through a really low week, battling negative thoughts that I knew weren’t from me or God. It was uncomfortable for me, as more of an introvert, to reach out, but I realized I needed support. It was through that community that I learned the truth about myself and what God says about me. Remember, reaching out is a sign of strength. Your vulnerability can inspire others, and in opening yourself up, you might find the community you need. You are worthy of love and connection, and there are people out there ready to support you. What step can you take today to reach out and connect with someone?
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another.” – Hebrews 10:24-25
