Just Breathe

My sweet Melissa,

I am with you, right here right now. Close your eyes and take three deep breaths. Do you feel that calm as you exhale? That peace when you simply breathe? This week, I want you to pause and just breathe. As you do, think of me. Think of how good it feels to let go. Every time you release into my hands, remember-I’ve got you. You never have to be afraid. I’m with you always, even when it doesn’t feel like it, and you can always trust me. I know this past week has been hard, and it scared you, but exhale and remind yourself- I created you, and I’m sustaining you. Nothing can mess up my plan for you.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and we forget to pause and breathe. I’ve found that it’s become really hard to quiet my mind and spirit because the world is so noisy, and there’s always something to worry about. Like many people, I tend to overthink and overanalyze, letting my mind race in every direction. But when I stop, take a deep breath, and focus on God, I find peace and stillness. If you’re feeling overwhelmed today, give your cares and worries to the Lord, and let His peace fill you. Just breathe, and remember-you are never alone. Are you ready to let go and trust Him?
