The Journey Through Transition

My sweet Melissa,

Today marks the the first day of your new season. I know you’ve had a hard day, and I know you are sad about many things. This is part of the transition you are going through, and transition can be uncomfortable and unexpected. It’s a “doorway” that reveals both where you have been and the possibilities of where I’m leading you. Right now, you’re in between- no longer who you used to be, but not yet fully who I created you to be. I know it’s easy to feel discouraged, to lose hope when things don’t seem to align with your spirit anymore, and when the dreams you imagine feel so far off, almost impossible. But don’t lose hope. You have come so far to reach this point, and I’m so pleased that you have chosen the narrow path. I’m proud that you have chosen me above anything and everything else. Even if no one else sees it, I see it.

Love, God

Even when the path seems uncertain, remember that God sees the progress you’re making. You’re not who you used to be, and though it might not always feel that way, you’re moving toward the person God created you to be. Trust the journey, taking it one step at a time. God is with you, watching over each step and guiding you along the way.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a HOPE.” – Jeremiah 29:11
