Where Giving Never Ends

My sweet Melissa,

There’s no such thing as giving too much. I want you to remember that. When you give, I give back even more. Many people find it hard to let go and release what I’ve blessed them with because they believe it’s theirs, not mine. But as you know, everything comes from me. People have because I’ve given to them.

Think of it like this: If someone keeps giving to you over and over, and you hold onto it all, the giving stops-like the Dead Sea, where there’s an inflow but no outflow, and without outflow, there is no life. Melissa, life flows out of you when you give. I want you to give with your time, your gifts, your resources, your money, your voice. Use what I’ve entrusted to you. Step out in faith and share what I’ve taught you. What I give you, I want you to pass on.

Don’t worry about what others think of you-it doesn’t matter. Step out and share. “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)

Love, God

When God gave me the idea to start my blog, I felt unsure about sharing the letters He had personally written to me. My first reaction was one of resistance, as I worried about what others might think. Yet, deep down, I know that if He is asking me to share these letters, there must be a gift within them for someone else. It’s a reminder that our hesitations often come from fear, but stepping out in faith can lead to blessings for both ourselves and those who read our words.

Think about something God may be calling you to share or give, even if it feels difficult. What hesitations do you have, and how might stepping out in faith lead to blessings for others?

“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” – Proverbs 11:25
